The suggest about the handlaid track website is great, I use their ties,
solder and turnout templates. There are guys in the PPSSW who use the
American Models track system with great results. I made a portable layout
using the SHS track system and trackplanning guide that I use when "young
visitors" come over. It is easy to set up and take down, very reliable and
with its own roadbed, it looks great. I don't think you can go wrong with
either system.
