Hi Marty, I'm not very experienced in brass building but I'm
working on a boxcab gas electric model and I found it helpfull to cut
a hardwood block for a form to bend the brass over. I don't know if
that would help in your situation but it's something to consider. I'd
also suggest cutting a test cab from .015 brass sheet and doing some
practice bends before you try the real one. ....dave
