The Hot Wheels 38' Ford COE (and also a '56 Ford COE) are really
1/72 scale and would look kinda silly alongside 1/64 scale models.
Unfortunately a lot of people list everything Matchbox and Hotwheels
ever made as "1/64 scale" although some of it is raelly as small as
1/100! What can you do with it if you have one (aside from putting
it back on Ebay or giveing it to your kids)? If you have a road or
street running near your backdrop, especially if it has some of the
Walthers printed HO building flats or unmodified DPM buildings along
it, that is an ideal place for these vehicles providing some "forced
perspective". A second issue is that they have rather
funny "customized" bodies which are pretty unlikely for an actual
freight hauling rather than a car show exhibit. Placing the vehicle
so only the cab shows around another building or behind some trees
or a board fence can help.

The Ertl REA cab and tractor look like a mis-match (notice the
trailer floor slants down ad the trailer wheels look really small
compared to the tractor). I've seen the Ertl tractors with a larger
trailer, they are definitly about 1/43 scale (too bad, they have
several nice 1950's trucks in the line). The trailer might be usable
in S.
