Hi All,
The latest Canadian Railway Modeller magazine has an article about an S scale
layout called the Athabaska Northern. It is about modern railway based in
the Great White North above the treeline. I is a good looking railroad and
the modelling is also very good. The man's name is Nicholas Deely and he
lives in Alaska. The locos are CN, Alaska Ry, CN-Great Slave Lake, Hudson
Bay Railway and CP.
The track is code 100 and code 70 handlaid. All turnouts except one are
number 6. He regrets using the one number 4.
Looks like he's mostly used AM diesels but they have been accurately painted
in the above schemes. The HBR SD60 looks really nice, even for a diesel.
