Richard Karnes, on Sunday Mar 26 re entering grades gradually you wrote in
part, Message # 37105, "If you're using the cookie-cutter approach, rely on the
natural stiffness of the plywood to make your vertical curve transitions.
Don't start your grades at the edges of a plywood sheets. Start your grade
(i.e., cut) at least about 18 inches into the plywood. When you fasten your
roadbed to your plywood it will conform to the vertical curves in your plywood
base, provided that you clamp or screw it closely enough to maintain complete
contact with your plywood."
***Your point is well taken--construction hasn't started yet. I still
redrawing the layout. Thank you ! Ralph Powell
