I apologize in advance for asking this because I know it has come up several
times. But, as is the case with my 30-second attention span, at that time I
did not need the information.
Any tips, suggestions for replacing AF couplers on Flyonel cars would be
appreciated. Looks to me as though I need to drill out the rivet (I guess
it's a rivet of some sort?) that holds the coupler in place, then re-drill
holes to mount the new 802's or SHS or whatever, shimming as necessary, and
of course using a coupler height gauge along the way.
But I await any replies for the collective sage advice of this august group
of modelers.
