There have been several messages on the bridge and deck ties both on
and offline. To those who sent complimentary comments, thank you very
much. It is why we do this! The project was a one shot deal of 75
pieces. I had always hoped to do another bridge; shorter double track
plate riveted through truss. Regrettably I no longer think such a
project would draw the necessary support and the builder is now out of
business.

The S scale bridge was not built by Ajin nor is it the same one
pictured in the December 82 Mainline Modeler. The S scale bridge
is modeled on an actual prototype bridge still in use on the UP (nee MP)
in Missouri. Well, at least it was still in use in 2000! The ties in
the laser cut bridge deck kit fit the bridge with no cutting. If you
wish to see photos of the bridge check out the link:

Finally, if the bridge deck kit is no longer available from Bill Banta,
that is a loss for S scale. I may have a few extra around if anyone
wants to check in Pontiac (no guarantees). However it may be easier to
influence Bill to re-run the kits than to find anyone to put up
thousands (maybe 10's of thousands) of dollars on tooling for bridge
deck flex track. Just my opinion...
