Hi Andre;
There is a spreadsheet on the Steam Era Freight Cars
list showing the lenght of service of USAR single
sheathed cars. Quite a few roads had them running
through the mid 1960's, including:
Ann Arbor
B&O
D&H
PRR
MEC
RF&P
AFAIK there are no other single sheathed cars
currently manufactured, although wood kits for some
others do turn up from time to time for sale.
