i ditched all the prs plastic trucks and used both shs and am. models
all metal sprung trucks with excellent results. the prs trucks make
excellent loads for my converted af metal flat cars since they are so
light. john verser did us a great service with his great kits, but
they were too light so the metal trucks add most of the weight they
needed and derailmenta are gone on my layout like dick karnes
experienced. the past few years john sold me boxcare without trucks
which was perfect. also, i agree with the folks who run care an ounce
or so under the nmra rec'n, probably due to my excellent trackwork, ha
