Another thought. There were lots of Pacifics made. However, when you
produce a K-4 it becomes road specific. Now take an F3. It ran on many
railroads. However, if you produce it in PRR colors, it becomes road
specific. Same goes for B&M, ATSF, etc. 

I remember recommending that someone make a diesel with the war bonnet
scheme and having it met with the same scepticism. Same thing happened
when I recommended that S have a Trainmaster, so I'm used to this.

While we're on the subject, the safest thing that the manufacturers
can do is try to cover the most popular prototypes because that is
where the largest potential sales are. Exceptions occur when there is
a broad appeal such as the B&M diesels. I believe that the PRR K-4
would have such a broad appeal as to be a winner in S as well as its
representing a very popular prototype.
