Indeed Thrall Car Manufacturing Co.  no longer exists as an in 
independent company. They merged with Trinity Rail Group in 2001 to 
form Trinity Industries. Trinity also acquired Pullman Standard back 
in 1981 and with the merger became the largest car builder in North 
America. Their web site describes their products and services but no specifics.
