Hi All, I am not sure if Jeff left the group yet, but if you should find yourself in a situation like Jeff, are going on an extended vacation, or you feel that you are getting too much email to manage, you can edit all of your group memberships. You do not have to quit the group only to rejoin it later. Sign into your Yahoo groups page and click edit memberships. The first option you can do is switch from individual messages to digest mode which you will get one large email with all of that group's messages about once every 24 hours, or 25 messages which ever comes first. The second thing you can do is switch to "no email" which you still retain all of your membership rights, but do not receive any email. You can go to the group home page and read the postings.
I own and belong to a total of 54 Yahoo groups. I receive email from about 10 of them, and only 1 or 2 are in individual message mode.
