Hi Greg;

This depends somewhat on the prototype, but generally
HO equipment is better for S narrow gauge than
On3/On30. The Bachmann On30 boxcar (based on a 3 ft
gauge prototype) is pretty close in size to a standard
gauge 34 ft boxcar in S, except it's about a foot too
wide. The Sn2 folks found that a 40 ft wood boxcar in
HO was pretty close to a typical two foot gague boxcar
in S.
