When I built my first module I found a diagram for a #10 turnout from a
"real railroad" source. It was the sharpest that source had. I used copy
machine to bring it up to S, glued it down on my roadbed, and glued ties on
top of that, following the diagram. Did you notice ties are closer together
under the frog, and sometimes, under the switch-points?
