For the SSL&S 6-wheel passenger trucks, you need NWSL 36" wheelsets with
shouldered axles (Part #37758-4). Ditto for the 4-wheel tender trucks,
although 33" wheelsets (Part #37757-4) are OK too -- Depends on prototype..

For the loco lead truck, I have used old Miller/Northeastern wheelsets. You
need to cut away and remove the black plastic from the steel axle, leaving only
the plastic within the wheel hub. Then you need to regauge (spread) the wheels
slightly to match the NASG wheel gauge. Then secure the newly-regauged wheels
by applying a drop of ACC to the backside of each wheel where the steel axle
enters the wheel hub. Finally, using a cut-off disc in your Dremel tool, cut
and grind off the axle ends flush with the wheel hubs.

For the 45" wheelset in the trailing truck, call NWSL and ask them to mount O
scale fine-scale 33" wheels on an S scale shouldered axle. This will get you
44" wheels -- close enough.
