Hello, boys. Well, global warming has caused some more of the Great Plywood
Glacier to recede and native ground foam to sprout. In the past week, I've
reached my goal of completing the scenery for Iola Yard and nearby area.
Granted, there's more to do here with the engine service area, turntable and
roundhouse, plus there's always fiddly-bits to add, but this is a good place to
stop for now.

New pictures are in the Photo Files at:
   http://ph.groups.yahoo.com/group/S-Scale/photos/browse/b2b3?c=

I also moved the original four photo's from the other file for comparison.

In some respects, I feel like I have Post Scenery Stress Syndrome. I felt a
little let down after finishing up the Carlyle corner. Maybe it's because of
the somewhat concentrated effort to scenic about a quarter of the railroads
land mass. And this was the "easy" part, I didn't have to deal with finishing
up any of my partially built structures for this phase.

I'll get over it. Right now, I'm working on getting the turnouts working
back to their pre-scenery reliability, I've still got one that sticks a little.
Then after a massive track cleaning campaign, roll the equipment back in, take
more pictures, run trains, the usual stuff.
