It really depends where you live I think. My first contact with them was near Chattanooga where my late Dad used them on a project, and within about a year they began to give trouble. Cause.....He worked and lived near the US Army Volunteer plant that was in operation at the time and the affluent released into the air from the plant caused corrosion within the connectors and caused high resistance and sometimes complete failure. (Women working at the plant couldn't wear nylons because the nitric fumes would eat them up). I live near a chemical plant here in the Augusta area and I've had problems with them. Some of my customers who live near the ocean report the same problem (white corrosion (salt)) that seems to give intermittent conductivity. Some others report good results. Given as a word of warning. The electrical Guru team did not come out in favor of them. I saw a layout recently that had them everywhere. I guess the end used plays into the factors. So no for module use, and possibly sparingly for layout use.
