Hello friends,

All of us over at the S-MOD yahoo group are having fun thinking about how to
modularize
DCC for S-MOD layouts.

We have designed a Track Bus wiring system using 12 ga flexible wire and 30 amp
Powerpole connectors. This system allows for single and double track modules
and allows
the modules to be rotated by 180 degrees and placed in the layout.

And now we are starting to consider issues about attaching the Booster output
from any
DCC system to the Track bus lines.

One point was made by Bill Nielsen (I think) that it is tough to attach 12 ga
wire to the
terminals of many boosters from a variety of DCC systems.

Since I do not have access to very many systems.....

For those of you who do have DCC systems....

How would you suggest that we devise a way to add 12 ga wiring to booster
output
terminals?

[No... we haven't talked about which DCC system to use.
At this point we are talking about issues that are independent of the type of
system in
use.]

Thanks

Don DeWitt
