Hi Thorin;

Look at the "Black Beetle", http://home.waterfront.net.au/~sem/bbeetle.htm

They have a good reputation and are made in S gauge. I ahve not used one
personally.

 I am looking for a powered truck in S Scale. Drop it on the
rails and away it goes. 4 wheels or 6 wheels. It must be DCC
convertible so an old Miller power truck is out. I want a pair of them
to power an experimental locomotive (no prototype). Scale flanges
preferred. I could regauge an HO mechanism but I would prefer to start
with an S mechanism.

Thanks!
Thorin
