Just wanted to pass along the latest news on River Raisin's SP 2-8-2 (six
versions) and 2-10-2 (three versions) steam locomotive project. The builder
recently sent a photo package on the finished production models. Unfortunately
Dan discovered some minor corrections that needed to be made, mainly in tender
lettering detail. The builder understands the issues and has agreed to make
all the corrections even if it requires stripping certain tenders.
This will delay delivery slightly, River Raisin is now expecting to take
delivery of the models the week of July 28th. Orders will begin shipping as
soon as models can be checked, with luck all will be on the way by the time we
leave for the NASG Convention in Lowell.
There are a very limited number of models still available.
