We''ve had a few correct answers already. Here's more.

In Michigan Coe Rail was known mainly as the operator of a dinner train
called the Michigan Star Clipper. They also moved a little rail freight on
their trackage. But last I heard, Larry & Judy Coe were selling it off and
moving out of state. Apparently they subsequently set up operation in
Texas, to not always shining reviews. See
http://www.trainweb.org/southwestshorts/fwwrbf.html .

A few years ago I attended a regional NMRA convention and one of the
prototype tours went to Coe Rail. Mr Coe talked to us at length about his
dinner train, where he had got the equipment, &c. I asked him about all the
CRLE-marked equipment we see on the rails He explained that it was a
financial investment deal and that the cars were managed by Gunderson, if I
recall correctly. A little like the old IPD system that people were
investing in.

And if you've been paying attention you know this boxcar from Des Plaines
Hobbies is not their first RTR CRLE-marked car.
