Dear Ed,
When we first issued the purchase order for our engines, we
ordered 20% code 110 based on the pre-orders. And we all know we had
a long period of pre-orders. Once the Tsunami DCC sound 2-8-0s came
out, our code 110 sales doubled. We still had several hundred 2-8-0s
in China to be shipped to us. We paid to have them converted to code
110 and that was not enough. So, right now we only have a few lefts.
As far as a re-order goes, we have re-run all of our items once sold
out. But, times are a bit tougher now and we are watching our pennies
much closer. I had meeting in China this past winter regarding
changes in the 2-8-0 for the next run including modifications to the
smoke units, headlight connection, etc. We plan on re-running these
in the future. I am not sure if it would be a run of just 2-8-0s or
with another steam engine.
