Here it is, folks... the somewhat short, but very encouraging (much more that
the last) reply from Frank Sergent concerning the future of his S scale
coupler! I encourage EVERYONE who is interested in his coupler to drop him an
e-mail (address above) and let him know you'll support him! :

NOTE : The Old style (Legacy) Sergent coupler is NOT presently listed on their
web site since it is temporarily out of production. They are upgrading all of
their production equipment, so nothing (old or new) can be produced at this
time.

Hi John,

Not a whole lot has changed since I last addressed this. As you know, I am
considering going die cast with the S scale product. It is something I want to
do. My wife is also encouraging me to do it as well, so you have the ultimate
ally in that respect. The good news is that we have learned a lot in the
retooling effort for the HO scale couplers. All of that can be applied to a
future S scale coupler as well.

Thanks,

Frank

Subject: S Update ( I hate to be a pest )

Hi Frank,

I hate to be a pest, but I just wanted to let you know that there has been a
LOT (a BIG LOT) of talk on the S groups over the last week about couplers...
the future, possible Sergent S coupler included, and many have written me
asking if I knew anything about the possible future of your S scale coupler....
is there a future or not, and if so, when, even if only a ballpark guess.

So if you can give me anything to throw out there to appease the beasts, I'd
appreciate it.

Thanks.
