    If you took the trouble to actually try ebay you'd find the
"problems" are mostly rumors spread by those who never have used
ebay.Most real users are quite happy with it, high postage costs are
not ebay's fault, gas has kept going up for a few years so mail rates
have more than doubled.Paypal fees are a lot cheaper than driving to
the post office to buy a money order and a lot easier than  sending a
check.
  An alternative train auction site is sure to have liquidity problems
for quite a while, I recall one attempt a few years ago, that fizzled
out  from lack of listings and low bid prices.
   What is wrong with this yahoo group site? I click it and it's
usually here, has been for quite a few years and the cost is right.
What problems do they need to respond too?
