Just an update from my perspective as a vendor of SoundTraxx and
former
manufacturing engineering manager in electronics (disk and tape
drives,
mostly).

I saw prototype (machined heat sinks, not cast, etc.) versions of the
4
and 8 amp Tsunamis operating at SoundTraxx almost two years ago.

They have been severely limited in technical resources since the
original announcement of the Tsunami. These limitations include the
time
and EXPENSE of the legal maneuvering arising from actions by MTH and
others.

There have been many announced technical issues needing attention at
SoundTraxx during this time:
* Steam Tsunami
* Diesel Tsunami
* SurroundTraxx
* Diesel Tsunami for Atlas style light boards
* Higher amperage Tsunami

Now we have three of the five released and production ramping up. The
Atlas light board version has been hinted at as coming out in the
next
few months. Bachmann has been buying a Tsunami Light high amperage
version.

Now their engineering challenges are becoming production and testing
challenges.

Based on all of that and without any "inside" knowledge, I'd guess we
might see them before New Years!
