Hi Ed and anyone else who might be interested--

The total wheelbase of a RRM T-1 2-10-4 is very close to 116 scale feet or 20
real inches. I did not measure at the rail contact points of the pilot truck
wheels or the last contact point of the tender's last wheels, but rather
measured what would be a useful distance when trying to put a loco on a
turntable bridge.

Hope this helps,

Subject: {S-Scale List} Total Wheel base for the River Raisin 2-10-4's?

  Hi All,
What is the total wheelbase, including the tender, for the C&O T-1 2-
10-4? The wheelbase of the PRR J-1 should not be significantly
different so if anyone knows that wheelbase, that info would be
appreciated as well. My purpose is to determine the length of the
  turntable needed for the T-1.
  Thank you,
  Ed Kelly
