Brian,
Have you considered the Bachmann On30 trolley power trucks? They are readily available at about 1/3 the price of a SPUD (you get the whole On30 trolley). They are gauged at 16.5 mm, but are easily regauged to 7/8". Plus - when you're done you've got a bunch of parts for use in other traction projects. Here is a pic of a regauged On30 trolley truck using SHS diesel wheelsets (ignore the Hi-rail wheels - this project needed them, but SHS's scale wheels work just as easily). http://s-scale.org/albums/main.php/v/friends/dmunseyjr/on30-2-s/BachOn30trol leymotor_2_S_ga_conv_side.jpg.html This is a link to the first pic in the album devoted to bashing the oversized HO Bachmann or Model Power Plymouths to 1:64. Alan Carroll's pix of his On30 conversion are in this album also (with his permission). ENJOY! Donald E. I'm toying with the idea of using them to power some Interurban motors. I've found several sites in the UK that sell them, but with the exchange rates right now, plus overseas shipping, well... Yeah... :P - Brian Empanger ([EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:pflarrian1%40yahoo.com> ) [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
