Uncle Bill,
When we do our module shows at malls, we have a little display showing
gondolas with little placards from all the major scales. Often someone
will stand right next to it and ask us what scale our modules are! So
you do what you can.
One of the best known layouts in our area is Gil Freitag's Stoney Creek
and Western. (I did the MR feature a few years back). He's been asked
if he takes it down after Christmas. Also how much work was it to drag
all those rocks up the stairs!
I think the idea of a little leaflet about S scale and your personal
layout is a good idea--who knows who you can snag!
Keep a cold one in the fridge--someday I might be able to make it!
