Looks like there is a lot more detail on the new version of the swing bridge, 
but is it any longer  span wise than the original version? I saw the early one 
on U Tube and the size of the central turntable (don't know the proper term) 
takes up a lot of room in proportion to the total length. It is comical to look 
at as I don't see how anything but N scale craft could negotiate past it when 
open.
