Roger:

Can you go into more detail on why the paint was difficult to 
remove?  One of my future projects is to beautify a NW2 with the SP 
Tiger strip scheme and I may have to strip paint if I cannot 
purchase an undec version.

As I have mentioned on this list, I have had no problems striping 
paint off SHS models.  For example, I soaked a PRR F7B shell painted 
in PRR __________ Brown (you NYC guys can fill in the colorful 
adjective of yer choice <LOL>) overnight in 99% Isopropyl Alcohol 
and the paint & lettering literally fell off with the aid of an old 
tooth brush.  I was left with a very clean painting surface.
