I happened to be there when Steve's grandson was running it. I even threw a
couple switches. Yes, it is a very nice layout.

Subject: {S-Scale List} Sunday layout tours

I have received a couple of phone calls, we will have guests today. the
layout is running fine, today we have an A-B set of Burlington power on the
layout for some test runs. they are currently pulling a nice long freight
burbling along fine. I think the consist and train is just short enough so I
can do a meet with the long ore train.

Another convention note, Steve Doyle's grandson operated the NASG switching
layout and had a great time. I think the switching layout is great, runs well
and is fun to operate. That a five year old is able to run it and have fun is
important, that a 58 year old can also run it is an added bonus.

  Perhaps Steve will post photos.
