Haha, That reminds me of when I was a teenager still living at my parents and
I got into my VW bug to drive down the block to check out the surf. As I got to
the corner across from the beach I went to push the brake pedal but couldn't
find it, I tried again and still nothing there. The intersection was coming up
fast with a cliff across the road so I pulled the emergency handle and made a
sharp right turn and got stopped. Looking down I found that the brake pedal had
broken off.
Took it back home and welded it on and went about my business. Imagine the
recalls and fuss that would cause today?.....dave
