I have about 14 feet of point to point, my one operating locomotive uses DCC to
limit the speed to about 30 mph. Every young kid that comes to my house has a
throttle shoved in their hand. They run the train, blow the whistle, ring the
bell. About half of them think it's great, half of them couldn't care less.
There doesn't seem to be any gender difference, although maybe slightly more of
the girls enjoy it than the boys. Their parents almost always have to call an
end time and take them home.
