It might be useful to remember that SSA has very nice USRA composite 
gondolas--which were also drop-bottom.
What would be nice to have are the Enterprise all steel ones as mass-production 
in S scale, like the Max Gray brass ones in O scale,
or the old Ulrich die-cast ones in HO.
The lever mechanism on the SP convention cars is more evident than the 
activating system on the USRA, so they
don't duplicate the SSA cars.
