After a spate with red paint for passenger power, the N&W turned to what
employees called Pegler=blue named after the president of the company at the
time, I think. I cannot recall whether Pegler-blue lasted until the end of
passenger service or whether the company returned to tuscan red.

Geetings All;
     I don't believe the N&W had any RS-3's until they mrged with other roads.
They did received new & painted red some Also RS-11's. They were also used in
passenger service.
