Nothing real dramatic, here. I have a mental block, too, when it comes to 
scenery. In fact, other than basic ground cover, my efforts have been only 
minimal so far. I still need to figure out how to make bridge abutments and 
scenic the ravine.

After painting the Homasote with Spruce Green latex paint, I simply drilled 
holes to plant the trees, then used ground cover, SE Iowa "dhurght" and model 
grass, before I planted them. Pretty primitive, but I felt like I had to start 
somewhere. 

I've been studying roadside weeds for years for possible tree candidates.
