Hello all,

I received my RDG roof casting from Bill Lane yesterday, which will be used
(someday) to complete a B&M combine
using a modified AM model. The shape looks to reproduce the contour of the
prototype quite well (although I have
not yet pulled out my calipers ;) and Bill's extensive surface finish work
resulted in a very attractive part. I appreciate
and value his efforts from conception all the way through to shipping.

Bill often encourages us to step up and help S by making or getting made that
item that you could use in S scale.
Look at S scale's history: time and time again, S scalers have produced
countless products because of our
determination and dedication. Our larger manufacturers, importers, and dealers
who are also S scalers have not
abandoned the scale, because it is theirs as well. We collectively make our
niche in the hobby what it is thru our
participation, be it research, design, manufacturing, producing, promotions,
sales... or purchases, to the extent that
each of us are able to.

I encourage you to participate.

Respectfully submitted,
Earl Tuson
