There's races at Trentham tomorrow, John.

John spent some of his time at the Trentham Racecourse, not far from my place,
when it was requesitioned as a Marine Hospital. Even closer to my place, was
the US Navy hospital, which is now converted into a convention center (my son
got married there a few months ago). During those war days, there were two
train wrecks in the area (both at the same place, and with the same locomotive)
that the US forces helped out at. Surprisingly, that same locomotive is now
running mainline excursion trains around the country.
