John, Congratulations on enabling the project for the SAL B7 box car. I feared it would never happen, but you stuck with it. In the end, Iordered two. Hadn't planned to do that, but I really wanted to see this project become reality. I would like to see a similar success with the Milwaukee Road horizontal ribbed box car but may have to redo a PRS kit. It doesn't seem that enough people are interested in having the car. Anyway, point here is that you did it for the B7.
Best to you Tom ________________________________________ From: [email protected] [[email protected]] on behalf of John Degnan [[email protected]] Sent: Saturday, May 21, 2011 11:58 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: {S-Scale List} SAL B7 Boxcar in Iowa This is very likely. I have only seen TWO B-7s in videos over the years... the second one being found just last week believe it or not. In one scene from the early 1950's it shows what I believe to be a SAL B7 trailing a Rock Island GP-7 in Iowa. Just thought I mention it. There is a long sequence of a railcar on a Milwaukee branch if Bob Werre hasn't seen it yet.
