Since I'm now concentrating on modeling the Southern Pacific, I've decided to
offer my 12 car BUDD California Zephyr train set for sale. This is a highly
detailed CZ built from the Supply Car kits with underbody & end details and
equipped with sprung AM trucks with BTS details. It is painted in ALCLAD II
paint with CZ decals and WP car names. It has proven to be a real show
stopper. The set includes the correct five dome cars (including the very hard
to build dome/obsy and the dome/lounge/dome), baggage, correct Pullmans and the
diner...all as the CZ ran in 1952. There are pics in the Photo Section under
"California Zephyr photos". Additional details have been added since the
photos were taken.
This is a onetime opportunity to purchase this unique CZ train set already
built, as you'd spend hundreds of hours replicating this train yourself. Sold
only as a 12 car set.
