Hi all --
While going through the “stuff” under the layout for disposal at the auction
during the convention, I found the “real” LWS boxcar I have. Sure enough, it
has two sides, two ends, a roof and a VERY simple floor, and I had chucked all
the rest of the kit. The PS car I thought was LWS obviously was not, and I
have no idea how I got the kit it (I have no box, very unusual for me). If
anyone wants a photo (not selling the car –it is a challenge now), email me.
While I am at it, it looks like at least 25 new in the box car kits will be
going to the auction. They include Chesapeake Models 3 bay hopper KITS (no
trucks/no couplers/no decals), a few Amity Star wood kits, a few “S”cenery
Unlimited wood kits, several PRS 40 and 50 foot boxcars (including a special
run UP 50’ car). These will be going CHEAP unless they are bid up. Other
goodies include OMI 6 wheel Buckeye trucks (long wheelbase) and SWM 4 wheel
passenger trucks (roll pretty well), decals, and detail / scenery parts.
Bring money to the auction!
