I figured showing some photos would be a better way to go, and get some better informed replies.

The center photo shows the general area it has to come from. again, there are a number of possibilities depending on where it is placed and what hand turnout is used. The bottom photo shows my current preferred idea with a #6. Note it will be chopped almost to its minimum length with the frog right at the module joint. I am trying to get distance between the points on the new turnout and frog on the existing turnout at right. Big question #2. What would the minimum distance be between the points of turnout 1 and frog of turnout 2 so there are no S bend issues? Currently as shown they are both #6 - again my most preferred.
