So I'm not the only one who felt the SHS trucks are clunky. I thought it was just because I spend more time working with trucks are Sn3 trucks from PBL or RGM. BTW, when I was kid, I thought the AF die-cast trucks were clunky.
Since most of my standard gauge track is dual gauge, and most of my Sn3 wheels are already Code 88, I was thinking that converting the standard gauge wheels to Code 88 would make sense, especially since that is the smaller number of cars. The AM trucks and PRS trucks have a much nicer fidelity, though I realize the SHS trucks shown are meant to withstand the AF/hi-rail environment. Have fun!
