Yup, there's lots of different ways to skin a cat... if you ever really want 
to skin a cat, that is.

Feline skinning discussion aside, in regards to putty and fillers: I used to 
use the baking soda and CA back in my control line combat model airplane 
days to effect a field repair.  Worked well for what I was doing, but given 
my experiences with it, I wouldn't think it would be very "controlable" and 
precise... but perhaps the fly boys have figured out better technique.

P.S. My layout shelves are almost completely CLEAR of junk now.  Embarrasing 
to admit it... but I found stuff dated 2004 among those piles of crap. 
Almost qualified as an archeological dig, I suppose.  Anybody need a 1963 
Sears Christmas catalog?
