Hi Andrew --
The problem is finding corrugated material wide enough to wrap around a dowel
or tube of the size of pipe you want to make. You might check out the
corrugated aluminum paper from Alpine Division Scale Models, part 1001. When
I saw it at the Sacramento show, it appeared to be really close to S, more than
HO. If your pipe diameter is less than 1/2”, you can probably use the
Builders in Scale corrugated material from CC Crow which is metal and more
expensive. Making the pipe is relatively easy once you have the material –
just wrap it around a dowel/ tube of the size pipe you want, cut off the excess
leaving a bit of overlap for glue, and glue (NOT to the dowel/tube!) -- maybe
using some kind of improvised clamp of rubber bands and a straight stick laid
along the seam to hold the joint closed while the glue cures. Careful
placement of the seam when loading the car will hide it.
Good luck!

Looking to make a few loads of corrugated pipes or drainage ditch pipes or
whatever they may be called.
Anyone do this or think of any ideas how to?
Didn't see anything on an Internet search.
ThanksAndrew
