Arden,
I believe that Hansel had those items plus an extended vision "Main Central"
caboose at the first San Jose convention. Most of us had not seen any "modern"
looking S at the time.

I bought a couple of items from Hansel when he decided to liquidate his
collection. IIRC I believe that the crane was for sale $500+. At the time I
thought that was just too much. Now I wished I had sprung for it.

I did buy his 86' hi cube box that has a working underframe and spinning axels.
It doesn't track very well but it's a great and inspiring model.

He was a truly unique individual. Most of his structure kits were individually
cut out when you ordered one and the plans were hand drawn.
