Bill, et al,

Pete Silcox and I were at the SC State RR Museum in WINNSBORO, SC where we
discovered a car with a set of actual FOX trucks.  They are in a position to
easily photo- graph and measure them if needed.  Think Pete took pictures of
the trucks.

I am not against doing Fox trucks or mostly anything else. But I am trying

to not have to run down data etc. This is where my last "take ownership"

post came into play. I have run a few projects like this now with great

success. You may want ___ but if your entire involvement is posting "I want"

it is not going to happen unless you completely cover the upfront costs

whatever they may be.

If you have wanted Fox truck for years you probably have drawings and photos

on them. That is what I need to do the design. I am pretty sure I have some

photos of them myself. But in reality how many would sell? Who would pay

$40-60.00+ for a set of brass Fox trucks? Would 20 sets sell? For me for now

that does not seem like a feasible item. Convince me that it is if you can.

Things that are best and easiest to design in Solidworks are flat boxes etc.

Curves and angles complicate the production process but can be somewhat

overcome. See the YouTube clips on my page here

http://www.lanestrains.com/SolidWorks_Modeling.htm to learn how the masters

are made and how I have to avoid layering as much as possible in the design.

This might help you think of something you want made.

Thank You,

Bill Lane
