I posted 3 pictures of my GE 25 Ton in an album of the same name. The first picture shows the underside with a standard gauge Black Beetle drive in place. Plenty of room. The second picture shows a side view with the relationship between the side frame and the wheels. It's not screwed down, so it's a little tipped. I had to shim the side frames down a little so they would line up with the axle centers. The third picture shows the drive mounting arrangement. You can see that one large hole is for the mounting screw. The second large hole is for wires to feed up to the hood where I'll install a Lenz Silver Mini decoder. The small hole in the center is for a screw to keep the drive from rotating. It's been an interesting project with many long delays for various reasons. The next step is to paint the underframe so I can permanently install the drive and decoder. Then I'll finish the superstructure. My Plan is to build a small switching layout for exibition and use this loco to keep things as short as possible. It'll also work well as a mill switcher.
