I would guess you are reworking the RI car because that is what you had; in an 
ideal world you could have as easily found an undecorated one from
which to work, but both in S scale and as prisoners of capricious Chinese 
capitalists (is that redundant?), everything we need/want is not readily
available.

I imagine you know that there are GB&W 50' boxcars (complete with Packers 
lettering) made by PRS out there; I believe they were a project of the
Badgerland group.  Since that was before I got into S scale, I can only infer 
that a group of S scalers in Wisconsin ponied up the funds to commission
a number of PRS kits painted for local roads which they then resold.

While Ostertag is not a rare name, it is uncommon; by any chance are you 
related to my long-time congressman in New York State (going back over
forty years, long before the current partisan nastiness)?
