headed for a food processing plant. The sand generally used is from
the Oriskany deposit for it's high purity (the same product used to
make glass). Next time you shake imitation butter flavoring on your
popcorn look at the ingredients. Most people wouldn't know that
Silicon Dioxide is sand!
